About Quota International and Quota International of Valdosta
Wanda Frey Joiner, the founder of Quota International, Inc. coordinated the efforts to form the club after attending a Kiwanis Christmas "ladies night" party in 1919. The founding club in Buffalo, NY, began with five members. Quota International, Inc. currently has 7400 members in 326 clubs which operate in 14 countries.

The Quota International of Valdosta chapter was chartered in 1957 with the same mission (see below) as outlined by the international group. We currently have over 50 members.

Quota International of Valdosta meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the James H. Rainwater Convention Center on Norman Drive at 1 p.m. for lunch. Click here for meeting schedule and click here to contact us. Meetings last approximately one hour. We have one program meeting and one business meeting per month and ask that members attend at least 8 meetings per year. We close each meeting with our "collect", our creed which is:
Quench in our hearts, O Lord, all fires of selfishness.
Unfold to us the joys of true friendship.
Open our minds to a better understanding of service.
Teach us the real
meaning of sharing.
And help us to hold high those principals of Quota for which we stand.

Quota's fundraising projects are the Taste of Valdosta and Holiday Gift Wrap at the Mall.  Community projects include a children's back-to-school party, Heart Walk and Community Closet Cleanout.
